Your vote needed

During our nearly month and a half teaching intensive English we discovered the value of introducing creative learning opportunities for our students.  Whether it involved decorating our classroom walls to create a more educational and inviting atmosphere for our students or creating interactive games that encouraged our students to speak English, we were always thinking of the next best thing.  After a lot of brainstorming and countless hours beating our heads against the wall we finally found an idea worth stealing.  On a side note, stealing is an essential part of a teacher's job description as long as you give credit where credit is due.  With that said, the idea worth stealing was that of the most recent interactive music crazy, the Lipdub.  It is a great way to get students to practice their pronunciation, listening comprehension, and reading comprehension.  Also, if possible, it can aid in the understanding of grammatical structures.  Unfortunately, in most instances the desire for correct lyrical grammar has been cast aside to make room for rhythmic fluidity.

The reason for this lengthy spiel is that I need to solicit your (my three occasional readers) assistance as non-biased judges in deciding which of the Lipdubs that we created is superior.  If you could vote in the poll box located between my flicker stream and blog roll that would be great.  In addition, if you desire feel free to give a sentence in the comment box to why you believe that the one that you voted for was better, I would be grateful.  Enjoy.

Thanks for all of your help! Stay tuned.

  1. I wanted to vote for Lipdub # 2 but cannot get the link to work where the voting takes place. I choose that one because it's the one done in Uclés, where my daughter, Casey the blogger, was at! (that's not too biased of a reason, is it?) Plus, I like the song and the monastery was a great backdrop. I bet it's the first time they celebrated the 4th of July!! Good job on both lipdubs! I imagine the kids loved doing them.
